SQL Server 2005 taking all physical memory 97%

    My server info:

    Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.2047.00 (X64) Microsoft Corporation Developer Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 1) 8GB Ram

    Sql server taking all

    Physical Memory 8.0 GB 7.7 GB 96 %

    virtual Memory 10.0 GB 8.4 GB 84 %

    Please give me any help and scripts

    SQL Server uses as much memory as it needs or has available to it as cache. There may not be anything wrong at all with SQL Server. If you don't want it to use all the available memory then you must manually set that option.

    This is for SQL Server 2000 but 2005 is very close to the same.
