Iam facing this issue, the user uanble to open the application..........
how to handle this issue.

Check all your Database services are up and running and Database is accessable.
Try to access the database remotely with the same login application is using.
If it's successful; things to be checked by the application side.

You can check the SQL error logs or the physical server security logs for more detail. If you don't find anything, post any detail that you or the user is seeing. Really not enough info to know how we can help.

What's the application and what's the error?
Have you traced things?
