SQLServerCentral Article

Apology for today's article

,

SQLServerCentral would like to sincerely apologize to Gavin Draper. It’s come to our attention that today’s technical article was plagiarized from his blog http://gavindraper.com. When we checked out the post suspected of being copied, it was obvious that this was the case and we removed that article.

We are truly sorry that this happened and there is no excuse to be made. This article was this particular “author’s” first with us, and it will also be his last.

We’d like to issue a public apology to Gavin Draper for having his work on our site without credit being given. Writing is hard work, and if you run your own blog, oftentimes the only real payment for this work is the reputation you build. It is not fair or right that others should steal that work as their own, and SQLServerCentral truly does not want to be part of this problem.

We want to make it public that this has happened. We’re hoping that you who read these articles will continue to keep an eye out for this horrible practice of copyright violation.
