Data Missing

    Hi Experts,

    I have Database D1 and D2(new empty DB).I have restored a dump from D1 to D2.When i select datas using application i can see the whole data from D2 but only a part from D1.Please Help

    What if you query from SSMS. Can you get all data from D1 or also only part of it?

    No issues when i query through SSMS.

    If you don't have issues with SSMS then you know all data is available. Because your app does get all data from DB2, the connection is most likely also correct. Leaves a difference between the databases or the instance(s) it is running on.

    Is each database on its own instance or are both databases on the same instance?

    Does the application user have restrictive permissions, Do you use the same login as in the application to login to SSMs and Check.

    Both database on same instance.

    Both had 2Gb of log and after i cleared the log they are telling that the issue is solved.Am sure that its not the log but am not able to find a perfect solution and a reason :hehe:
