We currently have an active/passive 2000 cluster. We need the same functionality - automatic failover without application changes to make it work. Anything new in 2005 to take advantage of?
No, just go through the functionality you need and the sizing. You can now use Standard Edition to cluster. If you need to setup reporting services, notification services etc you might need to check the versions a bit closer.
