I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction please - I've installed 2005 developer locally on my laptop and copied across a small number of DTS packages from a remote 2000 server so that I can operate on the LAN rather than across the WAN.
These packages run perfectly but still need modification as needs change which so far has not been a problem but I've just tried to create a new Transform Data Task, all is well unless on the Transformations tab I want to change anything - normally I delete the defaults, select all the rows and press new which on 2000 gives a range of options starting with ActiveX script which I use to be able to add some additional control into my code (it may not be everyones preferred option but it's a "convention" I've been following). However, on 2005 when I press new the Create New Transformation window is empty - does anyone know how to get the same options from 2000 onto that list please?
I have the same problem if I edit an exist transform data task.
Many thanks

Sorted it!
I thought I better continue to work so tried editting the same package direct on the 2000 server and I have the same problem so clearly a laptop issue.
Have narrowed it down to a probable user error - I had manually set the cachings for DTS following the instructions given on the msdn pages but when I deleted them and turned them on using Enterprise Manager the problem was resolved so clearly a typo somewhere!
Much relieved
