we have the sql server 2005 standard version.
-on the server machine I have sql studio, sql manager..
-on the client machine I have sql manager and sql analyzer.
the student use the sql analyzer to create & execute their sql statement. However they cannot create sql diagram from the sql analyzer as well as use all the features available on the sql studio 05.
is there a client version of the sql studion 05. & how can all the student access the same server appl from their client machines.
the box contains 4 cd's, when I try to run them they all have the same two options:
install:1 ..books, online samples...
2 client components.
is the client components really what I need?
Thank you

Yes. SQL Server Management Studio is a client component. It should be installed on the student workstations. You've probably found that Enterprise Manager won't work with SQL 2005, so the students don't need that.
