SQL Server Locking Level

    With SQL 2000, since a row may span a page (8 KB), what is the lowest level of locking? Does SQL Server allow locking at the page level, row level or table level? Is locking allowed at all three levels?

    Locking is available at all levels. TabLock, PagLock and RowLock.

    Rowlock is on by default...
