Doubt inSpotlight Monitoring

    Anybody using spotlight to monitor SQL servers, if so, help to setup to monitor SQL error log through this tool.

    I need this tool to monitoring if any specific errors logged in the errorlog, it should be notified to the DBA team.

    Eg. 1105 error - shoudl be raised as a Top priority alert.

    Immediate replies will be highly appriciated.

    I have used Spotlight but never monitored the error log. They caution you that doing so may result in performance degradation. Did you check with the vendor? If so, I'd be curious what their response was.
