Hi can anyone be of help, am trying to troubleshoot a failed job, this job updates tables on other databases, the particular table in question is replicated across the databases, what are the basic steps to take to start off fixing the issue.

Check the job history for some clues and also check if the job owner has permissions to other databases.

The job has been running successfully in the past, could it still be a permission issue, it is owned by 'sa' so do I check for this in the security of sql server 2005
