  Hi,

  Hope I have posted this in the correct forum. Our DBAs are trying to track licenses in SQL 2005 as they did in SQL 2000 and hitting problems. We did find this article on the web

  whereby basically a registry key must be setup and the licensing info placed in manually. My question is: Has anyone else run into this - is there a better way?? Also - is this the status quo in Katmai as well?

  Any info is muchly appreciated. Cheers.

  Hi,

  I tried the option mentioned in the blog. But it does not work for me. Is there any other way to track the licenseing info on SQL server 2005.
