Can anyone say how many questions there are in SQL 228 and 229 exams?

I think 52-55, but it's been a long time.
Those exams have been superceeded and will be retired soon. You might be better off looking at the 431, 443, 444, 441 exams.

Well i'm close to finishing up studying for these two, I hope to write these two exams by next week. I plan to just do an upgrade after to sql 2005.

The only upgrade available is from full MCDBA (requiring 228, 229, one server 2003 exam and an elective) to ITP Database Admin. Even with that upgrade, you'll still have to write the SQL 2005 technical specialist exam (70-431). Also there's no upgrade available for the ITP Database developer track or for the 2005 BI track.

i already hold MCSA 2003 with 1 other elective, so i only require 228-229 to become MCDBA. I never said anything about BI.......doesn't matter at this point wut i'll have to write for the upgrade

Try the link below for exam 229 study guide if your MCSA includes the TCP/IP exam you just need 228 and 229 for MCDBA. Hope this helps.
