  Does anybody know/have a link to an MS Document on whether SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition supports multi-core processors?

  I am looking to purchase a single quad-core and want to know if SQL 2000 SE will be able to use all 4 cores?

  Hi,

  You should be fine, as logic is based on physical processor.
