Sql Server 2005 Backup to be restored in SQL Server 2000

    Hi,

    I want to take a backup of SQLServer 2005 Database to be compatable with SQLServer 2000.

    I tried restoring SQL2005  backup in SQLServer 2000 but it gives me version conflict.

    I had zero luck in acomplising this as a restore. I have come to the assumption it is not possible. Any bcp/ssis task to export then import could meet your needs, albeit in a very slow manner.

    You cant restore 2005 backups to SQL Server 2000, you would have to use BCP or some similar mechanism to move the data.
