I am running SQl 2005 SP1 64 bit on Win2003 with three instances. On INST3 I utilized the import/export wizard to import data from another db into it, saved it and ran it. Now... the problem is that I cannot find where it saved the package... I did a save in SQL Server.... Why is this so difficult ... man in 2000 it was very straightforward in 2005 this is so clunky.

i think you need to use SSIS to open it up from a SQL server

1st make sure that SSIS is installed correctly, ie. there should be an SSIS windows service running. Then in SSMS click in Connect... Integration Services. You will see 2 folders Running and stored Packages. And the rest of the admin can be done from here.

I have three instances and am working on the third instance. I have found that it doesn't automatically configure itself to work with multiple instances. I am in the process of trying to figure that out now.
