Last year we upgraded all of our SQL Server 2000 databases to SQL Server 2005. Of course all of our maintenance plans were designed under SQL Server 2000.
In SSMS, in the Management | Legacy | Database Maintenance Plans folder are the maintenance plans we developed under SQL Server 2000. If I right-mouse button click on one of these older maintenance plans, one of the options available to me in the pop-up menu is Migrate. It seems reasonable to me to assume that this makes some sort of migration of the SQL Server 2000 maintenance plans to SQL Server 2005 maintenance plans. Is this a good and trustworthy tool, or should I just create these maintenance plans over again?

Can't say I ever used this option but keeping in mind all the changes to 2k5 maintenance plans in SP1 + 2 I'd rather create new plans in SSMS. In SP1 they fixed and issue with deleting backup files in subfolders and SP2 included numerous changes to maintenace plans like having multi-server plans and subplans. Not sure if they migrate option takes these changes into account.
