Hi,
I would like to notify multiple users of events in MS SQL 2005.
Can an operator be set-up with multiple email addresses, or is it better to have proxy access to a single email address amoungst a few users.

Simplest way to accomplish what you're after is to send the email to a distribution group - makes managing who receives the emails a lot simpler over time (e.g. all of your servers can send emails to the same distribution group, new DBA comes into your group/or leaves all you have to do is modify the distribution group).
Make the distribution group your default operator and off you go.
