As to your first problem, you do not need to use ini files anymore. Use SSIS Configuration Files. See BOL for more info.
As for your second question, you cannot migrate DTS to SSIS but you can execute saved DTS packages in SSIS. See BOL or google for info on this. It is really easy...
We all answer questions as quickly as we can. That is, when we have time, we will answer questions.
Saying something is really urgent, to me, comes across as a bit of a demand. We hardley read a question and think "Right, I'll answer that next week Monday". If something is truly urgent, a quick check on this site or Google, will have thousands of answers. In fact, google claims 50,400 results. http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=run+dts+packages+on+SSIS&sourceid=navclient-ff&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1B3GGGL_enGB213GB213
A bit of haed scratching and research would do wonders.
That's me done. I'll go get a coffee and a chill pill.
HTH
Cheers,CrispinI can't die, there are too many people who still have to meet me!It's not a bug, SQL just misunderstood me!
