Hello,
I am having trouble understanding what the root cause of an error I receive when using SSIS Database Back Up Task to backup a database. The task starts, creates a file in the desired location and even appears to backup the entire database to the file, however the task will not complete successfully. Instead I receive the following error when it is expected that it is finished. The error that I receive is:
[Send Mail Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "The connection "{26976D34-A363-4D09-9642-136C8D990F2E}" is not found. This error is thrown by Connections collection when the specific connection element is not found. ".
Has anyone else received this error when executing the Database Backup Task in SSIS? Any help on resolving the issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Ryan

Hi Ryan,
The error message shows that it is a Send Mail Task error. Do you have any Send Mail Tasks in the same package, maybe under the Event Handlers tab or so? This could surely be thrown out of those.
