I was wondering once the log shipping is configured to send the logs and restore them at the target db with user disconnect, can you force managment studio sessions to reconnect if disconnected? I was looking around, but didn't find any options. Just wondering if someone came across something similar.

anyone else can't connect to restoring db until restore complete and turn to standby.

Yes, I know. But are there hidden options that will enable management studio to reconnect once the tlog restore is complete?? Basically it could keep retrying the connection and connect successfully once the db is available again.
