I am preparing towards 431...the topics it covers is lot i feel.
How mich importance should i give for T-SQL statements part while preparing for this exam...???
Ex
Create database...as sooooooo many parametes...do we need to be perfect in this..similary back up ..etc.
Would apprecite if someone can give me some tips. By the time i finish reading the last topic..i feel less confident on topics read at the begining..
Any tips in clearing the 431 exam is greatly appreciated.

Not a lot of T-SQL, or guess if code is correct. There are lots of questions on SSMS, where you have a simulated environment and need to do something like add a user or delete a login or something like that. Be comfortable working in SSMS and in configuring various options and performing tasks. Get a book on the exam and work through various tasks in SSMS.
Half of the exam covers topics in multiple choice format and there is a good range of topics, replication, SSSB, performance, memory, etc., so you need to have some experience working with the product to feel comfortable.

Your response did increased my confidence. I am comfertable on SSMS than earlier versions. Hope it helps me now. WIil concentrate more now on the SSMS options.
