Many thanks in advance.

Your sentence is a bit confusing.
Could you clarify what exactly you are trying to do with the query analyzer and the index tuning advisor?

When I tried to use the Index Tuning Wizard, on the page to select Query Analyzer Selection, I found it was disabled. What I would like to know how to enable it?
Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about the ITW option in Query Analyser in Query tab?
You should have some query in your QA otherwise it will be greyed out (disabled)...

Mohammed is right. If you have nothing in the Query Analyzer window, Index Tuning Wizard will be greyed out. As soon as you type a single character in the window, you can go to Query window or press CTRL+I to start up the Index Tuning Wizard.

I have similar issue. but my SQL Query Analyzer is disabled from EM. I can run explicitly but not through the EM. I am running on SQL 2000 with SP4.
