SQL 2000 backups

    I am running a Database maintenance plan to cover the backups of most of my DBase's.

    Almost everything works fine, except that one of the DBase's will not create a sub-directory for its backups.

    It is not a major problem, I just like to keep things tidy.

    Anybody help?

    What's the exact name of the DB?

     

    Try manually creating a directory with that name and see if windows lets you (forbidden character is what I would assume at this point).

    Does the DB name have a special character in it that you wouldnt be able to use if you created a directory manually ?
