Server Roles

    I would like to a user with the privilege to create database (database creator) and read/write data (?), but not sysadmin. What can I do?

    These is a Server Role called dbcreator which can create and alter databases.  In addition, there are roles called db_datareader/db_datawriter within each database if you need to grant access to read/write data on a more granular level.
