SQL 2005 error

  • When I try to make a change in enterprise management studio, for instance configuring the max and min amount of memory that sql is set to use, or checking the enable AWE box I recieve the following error.

    'Microsoft SQL SERVER Management Studio

    Allter failed. (Micorsoft.SqlServer.Smo)

    Additional Information:

    An exception occured while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch.

    (Microsoft.SqlServer.ConnectionInfo)

    User does not have permission to perform this action.

    You do not have permisssion to run the Reconfigure statement. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 15247)'

     

    I am signing into Enterprise Management Studio with the SA usercode and password.  SA is set up at the SysAdmin.

     

    Any Suggestions

  • The issue is resolved after a reboot last night.
