Hi there,
I had installed SQL server 2000 + SP4 on windows 2000 server, and had no problem, but since I switched to windows 2003 advanced server and restored my databaeses on these servers, whenever I restart my servers, the agents don't restart automatically and I have to start them manually...The logon name for the service has the administration right and I can start the service manually.... Can you please help me??!

Take a look at the Local Security Settings. The account used for the service has to be granted to 'Log on as a service' and 'Act as a part of the operating systems' in the User Rights Assignment'
Let me know

Dear Diego,
I checked where you said, there is nothing defined there, but as I start some of my servers with "local system acount" and as I know it means running under local admin, and still I have this problem with those servers too, I guess it is not the case....
