After SP1 for Sql Server 2K5 was installed I can not connect locally to Database Engine using SSMS (Management Studio). Databse is OK and I can still connect locally to any Sql Server service or can connect remotely to Database Engine. It seems to me that some file (or files) that is responsible for SSMS was corrupted during applying SP1 (it’s funny but our second Sql Server where installation was running in parallel is fine). Any help is really appreciated. Thanks

Might be a stupid question.... but.. what is the error message?

Sorry, my fault: "SqWB- Sql Server Management Studio has encountered a user-defined breakpoint"- every time I try to connect to Database Engine. After pressing OK button SSMS closes.
