We have purchased the license for an extra processor, however, how to configure the SQL Server to add an extra license for that processor?
I have found some information for version 2000, but nothing for 2005.
Any idea?

SQL 2005 CD comes with licence.
As far as I know, in SQL 2005 there is no place you can add licences later. This is more liks paper licence. You need to keep them with you in case you are audited.

SQL Server 2000 had a little utility that allowed you to keep track of your licenses. The SQL Server engine, however, did not use this information; it was FYI only. In SQL Server 2005, since the utility did not provide any real functionality we removed.
Cheers,
Dan

No wonder I can't find any way to do that in Microsoft SQL 2005. Thank you Dan!
