hello,
i'm having trouble with the number format in RS. I thought it would take the defaults from the regional settings but it takes the american style (1,234.56). As we're using the European style (1.234,56) , this can cause confusion. Is there a way of setting the number format to the one defined in regional settings ?

The Language setting is in the Misc. section of the Report properties.

Thanks,
i must have overlooked that.
If i put "Default", does this mean that the local settings are used?

a strange thing occurs : when i put the language to default, this works fine in the prview pane in visual studio. But once i deploy it to my local machine, it again takes the American style.
Am i forgetting something? Is this a bug?
and another question : if i deploy the report to a server, does it take regional settings of this server or of the computer you're working on?

Did you change the server's setting or your pc's settings?

i've deployed the report to my local pc (regional settings are dutch-belgian). My Internet Explorer is in English.
Numbers are displayed in American style. I looked in the language settings of IE and saw then entries en-gb and nl-be. Removing the en-gb entry didn't change anything

I'm out of ideas... Hopefully someone else is not.
