Utility executables are installed where?

  • I'm having trouble with what I believe to be a bug. Have a server that has an instance of SQL 2005 on it, but they didn't install the tools when they did the original install. Now I'm trying to install the tools so I can use them on the server; however, the install says it went just fine, but I can't find any icons/links/program folders on the server anywhere. Then I couldn't find any executables anywhere either. Anyone out there know where the executables are installed? and possibly what their names are so I can try and see if they actually made it to the disk?

    Thanks,

    Lezza

  • This is for the evaluation version of 2005... I assume they'll be there too in the "real" version.

This is the management studio link.

    "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE\SqlWb.exe"
