Hello all
I receive the sql server central job mail every day since a colleague put me onto it, and i was wondering how many Australians (both employers and workers) use this service. I am very interested to know since I am a SQL server DBA with over 5 years experience and looking for work in Sydney.
What are peoples experience with job boards and do you think its worthwhile signing up with a requritment agent? Ive never actually used agencies. are there things i should look out for?
Cheers
Ben

Hey Ben,
I work in Sydney as well. And yes, if you are interested to work in Sydney with you 5 years of background experience, I'll say it is definitely worth letting the Recruitment agencies know about your interest. They should get in touch with you if they find something for you.
At the same time, keep looking at Seek.com.au, careerone.com.au etc and apply for the DBA jobs in Sydney.
Hope this helps.
Cheers.

We have a SQL based application that is deployed across Australia to small and medium sized businesses. I can pass on your resume to some of our Sydney customers who are looking for administrators or consultancy work, either part or full time.
E-mail me at roberth@sid.com.au if that is of interest
Best of luck
