Changing Excel File name of the Fly.

    I need to create a new file every time I run my package. I tried using Excel Destination control but I could'nt figure out how do I change the file name during package execution.

    Hey Mobashir,

    I ran into the similar issues and found that you need to use a script task. Unfortunately, I havent found a way to create a new Excel file like in the old DTS world, however, you can get around this by creating an empty template, copying it, renaming it using script, and exporting to that file. If you need more help, let me know.
