datetime format in script transformation

  Hi,

  in SSIS script transformation I want to assign the datatype "datetime" to an output column, but this datatype is not available in the dropdown list in the properties for that column. Has someone made this experience also? Any workaround available?

  The DT_DBTIMESTAMP data type will give you a date/time that's equivalent to SQL's datetime.
