Migrating SSIS packages from 32 bit to 64 bit server

    Hi ,

     

    While trying to run an SSIS package from 32 bit environment to 64 bit environment, it always give give the following  error : offline mode set to True cannot acquire connections. Even though the offline mode is set to false in the original package and it runs fine on 32 bit server, on 64 bit server it gives an error. Can anyone suggest why?

    On a 64 bit environment, make sure to use dtexec utility for 64 bit itself. There are chances that 32 bit utility is also installed. So use the dtexec utility in the path : <>\Microsoft SQL Server\90\DTS\Binn\ to invoke the dtexec utility for 64 bit
