SQL Server 2000 SP4 Hotfix issues....

    Does anyone experiences any major issues after applying the hotfixs on SQL server 2000 SP4?

    you get only problems if you don't install them!

    which hotfixes?

    i think 2162 was withdrawn for a few months and then replaced because it was faulty.

    I am currently having issues. The install seems to be hanging. It's been running for over an hour. Screen appears frozen at Updating Your System, Spawning Instances.

    I think I found my issue. I was Installing using 'sa' -SQL security.   'sa' on my laptop did not have a password. So, I run install again using Windows Authentication(assinged a user with SQL System Admin. rights). Viola, the install succeeds in less than 3 minutes.
