It is quite apparent there is a lack of knowledge in this area for this group and little to no responses. In the main sql group people there are very helpful but here forget it no responses and no help. A waste of time to post here. Just my thoughts.

Datawarehousing is just a little more specialised and a lot less understood.
If you are having troubles getting questions answered here, i'd suggest the microsoft forums, or trying some other sites.
SqlServerCentral is one of around 40 different sites I use weekly. What I don't get here, I can usually find on another site. But I would't drop this forum.

I just love it when people post questions to a free web site and then complain when they don't get a response ...

Hi
It also takes time to get forums up and running. Over time who knows this might be your top Datawarehouse Forum.
So lets all try and participate.

Agreed, Mike. Jack, if you spot a problem with lack of knowledge in a forum, try and contribute. It's an excellent opportunity for you to grow in your knowledge as you help folks with issues. If you are an expert in the field, take the time to correct the bad advice in a gentle way, explaining what considerations were missed. If you aren't an expert, do a little research and post the best possible answer you can. You may not solve the problem 100%, but your post may give the person with the question or issue a direction to begin looking in which may lead to the solution.
