Hi,
has anybody used the "tablediff utility" in SQL 2005, if so please let me know how to go about using this utility. I would like to use this to compare data in two tables - Thanks much in advance -

I haven't used the "tablediff utility" in SQL 2005. However, I do have to compare the data in tables quite often. I have found Red Gate's SQL Data Compare to be a great tool. I am not sure if you are looking to spend money or if the amount of times you need to do a data compare justifies such a purchase. However, I have really found it to be a great tool for a the price.

There are several products "out there" to do comparisons of both structure and data. I'll agree with Norene that Red Gate is a good product, but I've also checked out SQLDelta and a few others. Most are reasonably priced and well worth the money.
Cheers,
