Forward engineering a VISIO database into a sql 2000 database

  One of our team members reverse-engineered, in VISIO, a database on a non-windows platform. They asked me to forward engineer it into a standard sql 2000 database. (I can't find any such option in my version of VISIO).

  This other platform can be connected to via ODBC but its data types are different than sql 2000. What tools can you recommend to reverse engineer this database and then forward engineer it?

  I've had good success with Embarcadero's ERStudio.
