  Hi, this maybe a silly question, but I have noticed in one or two of our users table and Index that I do not seem to be able to DEFRAG.

  For example we have a tbale with three indexes in it.

  INDEX_A

  INDEX_B

  tINDEX_C

  I don't seem to be able to defrag the tINDEX_C, is there a simple explanation for this, and what does the 't' indicate.

  Sorry for this nooby question, but that is what I am.

  I think we need more info, when you say 'I don't seem to be able to defrag the tINDEX_C' what happens when you try? What error message do you get?

  The 't' looks like a typo - for instance someone changing the Server assigned default name to the required name mis-positioned the cursor.
