SQLServerAgent- Remote Server Administration issue

    Hi,

     When I tried to access(Start/Stop) the SQLServe Agent of a Remote SQL Server 2000 from my local machine using Enterprise Manager, getting the following error.

    "An error 1722 - (The RPC server is unavailable) occured while performing this service operation on the SQLServerAgent service."

    Please help.

    The last time I had a problem like this I ended up rebooting the server at which time it started working properly again.  I can't guarentee that it will for you but if you have a maintenance window comming up then it's worth a try.

    HI! I got a similar problem... When I Try to Start the SQLServerAgent service in a SQL server 7.0 Server... I got this message error "An error 2 - (The system cannot find de file specified) while performing this service operation on the SQLServerAgent Service".

    I have tried to find something on Internet about the problem, but I could not find anything... do anyone knows How can I fix it?
