Error While Opening DTS Package

  Hi Gurus,

  I received an error message while opening my existing DTS package. The msg is the following

  message box title : DTSDesigner Error

  THE EXTENDED ATTRIBUTES ARE INCONSISTANT.

  if click ok button, in the DTS console, Connection components only are there but the Tasks components are missing.

  What could be the error? How can I proceed?

  please guide me.

  Hi Jayakumar,

  I had encounterd similar type of problem sometime back. Reinstall or Repair would help in this case. I hope you have backed up your packages as .dts files.
