Difficulties with OLAP cubes.

    Hi all,

    I am very new to OLAP cubes.I have SQL server 2000 running under widows 2000.

    In order to understand what is OLAP cubes , i decided to run the demo comming with the Analyse Manager stuff you know the Foodmart2000. I process the Sales Cube and when i want to browse the data, it tells me that he is unable to locate the cube!!!!

    Help on this would really be appreciated.

    Hi,

    What Service pack is installed on ur system if SP1 then go for SP3 or SP4.

    or check is pivot table component is exesiting or not.

    If u install sp3 for analysis services the ur problem will solve but it is better to go for sp4 because microsoft had added many new features.
