Is it possible to change the Data Source inside the cube to look at a new data source?
I know I can edit the current data source and point that to a new place, but I have other cubes that still use that source.

Assuming in the second data source all your fieldnames ... are the same, you can add a second data source, then edit the cube, right click on the table and choose replace, then select the second data source and the desired table.

WHile I agree with the theory I have never been able to get that to work (the other Datasources aren't displayed in the replace table dialog). The closest I have gotten with this was to script out the catalog (incl cubes) to xml (using DSO-XML scripter) and then attempt to modify the DS details and re-apply to the existing catalog. This didn't exactly work, in fact I hd to delete the catalog and start again.
All i can suggest is to try the following:
1. Copy the catalog (ie RC and copy)
2. Passte with a new name
3. Delete the other cubes & dims that will remain in your first catalog
4. Change the datasource server in the existing datasource connection and rebuild your dims/cubes.
Obviously this then means you've now split out the cube/s from catalog "A" to catalog "B". This may or may not be a workable solution. Some OLAP querying tools have difficulty letting you change a report to point to a cube with the same name but in a different catalog.

Steve.
