Internal SQL Server error. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 8624). The step failed.

    Hi all. Under Job History I received the error:

    "Internal SQL Server error. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 8624). The step failed."

    From a daily job running a sproc, which is encrypted so I can't view it. Any ideas as to what might cause this error? Thanks.

    I have no idea without seeing what the SP is trying to do, even though it's encrypted you should be able to extract the text using a free utility from here.

    Let us know if you need any help interpretting what is going on in the decrypted SP

    Thanks Mike! Which of those decrypt procs do you prefer? Or does it even matter?... I'll try it out and get back to you.
