Thanks for the link and THANK YOU MICROSOFT for these long-overdue changes. Their philosophy has changed from "Let's certify the world" to "Let's distinguish experts from beginners." It still gives people entering the database field a way to prove their skills but it also prevents the MCSE or MCSD candidate from adding on the MCDBA certification through a couple of elective exams. NO MORE DILUTION! If you want to claim to be a database expert, you have to focus on the DBA program. The new tracks also add back in the data warehousing/OLAP/business intelligence exams that were MIA since SQL Server 7. This is great news for all current and future certification holders.
