Invalid object name ''syspublications''

    Hello everyone,

    I just setup snapshot replication on one of my database servers and when I attempt to run the snapshot, I receive the Error 208: Invalid object name 'syspublications'.  I checked the publications database for this system table and it DOES exist.  The account that the snapshot agent is running on has access to the syspublications table.

    With that, I'm at a loss as to why I'm getting this error.  If anyone has any ideas, it would be much appreciated.

    Hi,

    Do the user by which u are running ur replication has access on that table.

    Raj,

    I did mention that the user account executing the snapshot does have access to the syspublications table.  I'm able to query the table in Query Analyzer without fail. 

    If anyone out there came across a similar issue and resolved it, please let me know.

    Just a thought ....  If you post this in the SQL section, under "Replication", you might get more viewers familiar with this topic.

    Do you have any other replication already on this server ?

    Good thought homebrew.  I'm fairly new to this forum.  I will move it over now.

    Also, the is no other replication on this server.
