Hi
I'm having a problem with setting the SQL Agent Proxy Account. I get the follwoing error Message:
"Unable to set the SQL Agent Proxy Account because of the reason listed below:
'Error executing extend stored procedure: Specified user can not login'"
I have read the following article to no avail.
264155: INF: Reset Proxy and the SQLAgentCmdExec Account
SQL: SQL 2000 SP3a on Windows 2000 Server SP4
SQLSEVER and SQLSERVERAGENT both started with a domain accont and is a local Administrator.
On a domain with group policies.
I worked fine before when the NT account was on DOMAIN1 and now the account has moved to DOMAIN2 and it is not working.
Please help.

Terence,
Check out http://www.sqlservercentral.com/forums/shwmessage.aspx?forumid=5&messageid=131752
It is a little messy but dwilson4's post pretty much covers what is required.
If you have changed domains there may also be an issue with SIDs not matching. Maybe recreating the account will help.
