I have a Login Table in my Database that stores user login id and password information, rather than creating sql user accounts i am using this approach , so the question is whether or not it is possible to monitor a user's activity based on a particular login id (stored in login table) through SQL Profiler or Server Side Tracing ? please reply soon

Hi Killer
Thanks For answering my question. So according to you , one can not monitor activities of a user other than the sql server account user (the ones that sql server allows to create ) through server side tracing or profiler. You have mentioned Operating system tracing , i'd really appreciate if you elaborate it a bit more or provide me with some urls that might help me out.
