  I'm using DTS to transfer a table from SQL 2000 Server A to SQL 2000 Server b. Copy Option is: copy objects and data between sql server databases.  Advanced table options selected include everythimg except generate scripts in unicode.  I don't receive this error on all packages, only some?

  It looks like you have different collations between server A and B or between the databases/columns on A and B.

  Maybe you can try moving data using a SELECT query with the collate parameter.
