Can't find the admin created thread so...
Today's question reads
"You have a SQL 2000 transactional publication that has a failing distribution agent, the error message indicates that it is because it attempted to insert a duplicate primary key on the publisher."
The distribution agent doesn't do inserts on the publisher, it does inserts on the subscriber, hence none of the options given are valid.
Should that read "it attempted to insert a duplicate primary key on the subscriber"?

Can you tell us how it got corrected? we are facing same problem in SQL Server 6.5
